Kevin Pietersen to miss Champions Trophy

Pietersen had been expected to be fit again for the September 22 to October 5 tournament in South Africa.

But the 29-year-old has developed an infection in the scar tissue.

Kent opening batsman Joe Denly is the only uncapped player named in the squad for the one-day series against Australia and the Champions Trophy.
