Nokia N78 review
Nokia's N series is very high-end series and has lots of features but also very expensive in terms of price. N78 mobile phone is one of the impressive mobile phone in Nokia N series in terms of functionality and ease of use. While in terms of design, the N78 has same awkward design. The Nokia N78 has been announced in February 2008 and launched in May 2008. The N78 is available in three colors, Brown, Blue and White.
Design and Display
Nokia N78 is not looking so cool and stylish but the usability of the mobile phone is quite good. The mobile phome measure 113mm x 49mm x 15.1 mm and weighs 101.8 g with battery. The bar form of the device is very well shaped with no cutting corners, and the front part is covered by a glossy black plastic, which makes the phone look shiny and stylish. The backside features the same glossy plastic. The device is framed by a compound that looks like metal, but it's not a metal.
The Nokia N78 has 2.4" TFT display, so half od the phone's front part is cobvered by the display part. Above the display, there is an in-call speaker, a light ambient sensor and a secondary camera for video-calls. Below the screen, you find the keypad which is so thin that you can't push the keys effieciently. Also it is very awkward to write text using keypad. Above the keypad there's a D-pad, a multimedia key and two soft keys. On the right side of the phone, there are dual volume key and one dedicated camera key. On the left side, there is a microUSB port, the microSD card slot and small charging point. There are two stereo on both side of the phone. On th top side there is a 3.5mm jack for headphone and usual Power button. On the back side of the phone, you fine one 3.2 Megapixel camera and a large LED flash above the camera. The camera is not protected.
In terms of display, Nokia N78 features a 2.4" QVGA TFT display supporting 16 million colors with 240 x 320 pixels. Colors, contrast, as well as quality of the image displayed are very good. The music files are automatically sorted by artist, genre or album. The 3.5mm jack port you will be able to attach to it any kind of headphones compatible with this port.
