Thosiba Netbook NB100-128

NB100 Thosiba's compact Netbook 1.1kg chassis has the slimmest width - 225mm with the excellent build quality, so it's easily slips into the smallest luggage. It is also one of the thickest netbook chassis, it lakes the sleek of the Dell Inspiron Mini 9.

In terms of mobility, Thosiba has since added a 6-cell battery fro an excellent 253-minutes of mobile uptime, but the battery is quit large and protrudes from the rear of the chassis. This narrow down design has a direct effect on the keyboard. The small keys are awkward when typing at speed. Users with large hands are sure to struggle. Image quality is outstanding with Super-TFT coating.

The impressive software suite include with the NB100 sets it apart from its rivals. McAfee Internet Security Suite keeps you protected from the malware when online. 120GB hard drive is bettered by the Samsung NC10 one one of the most spacious around and ideal for carrying large quantities of files. The 3-in-1 card reader also supports the most common Flash storage formats. Microsoft Works provides basic office tools. Graphics power is capable but, for office use, we found it quite sluggish and slow to respond.

In terms of Network, the connectivity is also limited. While 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11g Wi-Fi provide standard network access, this is one of only two models. No Bluetooth for wireless connections to peripherals.

The excellent storage, battery life and screen quality of the Thosiba NB100-128 make it easy to recommend.
