NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420 GPU for SFF systems
The world's leading manufacturer of computer graphics cards NVIDIA has introduced the new Quadro graphics card NVS 420. The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420 quad-display business graphics solution, designed for small form factor systems, delivers reliable hardware and software for a stable business environment.
Tested on leading business applications, Quadro NVS 420 is capable of driving up to four 30" displays at 2560x1600 resolution and is designed to meet the needs of today's most demanding business user.
The Quadro NVS 420 along with NVIDIA nView display software allows users to spread their work across multiple high resolution (up to 2560x1600) displays and maximize productivity through multiple panels, advanced desktop and application management features.
As for technical specifications, the new Quadro NVS 420 card from NVIDIA is built on a PCI Express X16 interface and provides 512MB (256MB per GPU) of memory, 16 CUDA Parallel Processor Cores and an 11.2 GB/s memory bandwidth per GPU. According to the company, the card has a maximum power consumption of 40W and comes with support for DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL 2.1.
The card also features NVIDIA's Unified Driver Architecture (UDA), designed to simplify the upgrade process of a system's graphics, by ensuring forward and backward compatibility with NVIDIA software drivers. This graphics card will be available in this February with approx 499 USD.
