A mobile video application Ustream Viewing Application by Ustream.tv, is available for free at the App Store, this new live video streaming app lets iPhone and iPod touch users watch events in real time on their handheld devices. Also let users interact with other users via built-in chat function while watching. Though the Application launched on US President inauguration ceremony Tuesday. Approved by Apple to broadcast live video.

It's very easy to install on iPhone. The video quality is not as sharp as the YouTube video clip but it is really good enough with the clear and consistent audio stream.

Beyond the video, Ustream offers a few other handy features, like a Share button that launches an e-mail messages with a video stream URL. At the top of the main screen, Ustream sorts the options into three buttons: Top Live, Featured and Live. Next to the menu, there is a search button to tap the search term. At the bottom, three more buttons offer Live, Upcoming, and Archived lists of video streams.

To make the video feeds more social, users can log in with their Ustream account information if they have an account via the web -- and chat with other users in real-time as they watch videos.

Ustream for iPhone only works via a WiFi Internet Connection and it doesn't work via AT & T's 3G network. Despite the random content and the WiFi requirement, Ustream is good application.
