Mythic Entertainment, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio, announced that the critically acclaimed MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), is being developed for the Mac computer platform and is currently being offered in beta version. The Mac version of WAR is scheduled for official release in the fall of 2009, when players on both platforms will be able to battle and quest together on the same servers.

Microsoft has partnered with heavyweights of the anime industry in order to produce several original short animation films designed to deliver a new perspective over the Halo universe. For the expansion of the Halo franchise in the anime medium, the software giant will collaborate with acclaimed anime creators for the creation of the "Halo Legends" Anime Project. It will be Microsoft's 343 Industries to produce "Halo Legends," which is scheduled for the official debut on July 23rd, at Comic-Con International in San Diego. The Redmond company indicated that Halo Legends would be distributed worldwide by Microsoft partner Warner Home Video, with plans for the release still to come.

EA announced that, after almost 15 years and 30 million games sold, EALA is bringing the award-winning Tiberium series to an epic conclusion with Command & Conquer 4. Shipping in 2010, Command & Conquer 4 will introduce a multitude of innovations to the to the classic fast and fluid Command & Conquer gameplay while retaining the core compulsions that fans have come to love over the series' history. Introducing new class-based gameplay, mobile bases and persistent player progression throughout all game modes, Command & Conquer 4 offers players new, innovative and compelling strategic depth.

Funcom is proud to announce the launch of Update 5 - 'Gangs of Tarantia' on the 'Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures' live servers. Players can now look forward to exploring a whole new area, the Tarantia Commons district, complete with a spectacular new storyline, more enemies to defeat, and more rewards to be had. This is the fifth installment in a series of updates that is delivering new and improved content to the game's playerbase. 'Age of Conan' has seen a slew of updates since launching last year, adding countless hours of more content and new features to the game.

Sonic Solutions, announced that it is partnering with Fujisoft Incorporated to deliver premium entertainment to the Nintendo Wii game console. Sonic's Roxio CinemaNow will be providing Hollywood content, beginning with new releases and catalog titles from Paramount Pictures, for Fujisoft's video-on-demand service in Japan, called "Minna no Theater Wii" (Everyone's Theater Wii). The companies will continue to work together in order to expand the range of entertainment available for virtually instant streaming to the TV via the popular game console.
