MSI introduced two new gaming laptop - GX623 and GX633
Micro Star International introduced the new gaming laptops, the GX623 and the GX633, expands its line of gaming-ready portable computer systems. Both of these laptops feature a 15.4" LCD monitor. Each system offers a different configuration choice, with the former boasting a mix of Intel and ATI processing power, while the latter combines an AMD processor with one of the latest NVIDIA mobile GPUs.
The GX623 and GX633 select the brand new ECO Engine, the outstanding and unique power saving function by MSI Notebook, as the power management function to extend the battery running time while performing different tasks. Touch the ECO quick launch touch sensor repeatedly to switch among the 5 different modes – Gaming mode, Movie mode, Presentation mode, Office mode, and Turbo Drive mode while performing game applications, playing multimedia applications, performing presentation applications, dealing with office documentation tasks, or looking forward to minimizing the battery power consumption. Both systems have been equipped with colored W, A, S, D buttons and are featured with a lightweight magnesium alloy casing.
MSI GX623 gaming laptop
The new MSI GX623 features the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors with and Intel PM45 Express Chipset and ATI's Radeon HD4670 graphics card, featured on Intel's Centrino 2 platform. The notebook is packed with 512MB of DDR3 graphics memory and offers support for up to 4GB of DDR2 system memory. Additionally, it can be equipped with a 500GB SATA hard drive and a 6 or 9 cell battery pack. The system also offers a choice for either a DVD or a Blu-Ray optical drive, as well as a 2MP webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, and wireless 802.11 n-draft connectivity.
MSI GX633 gaming laptop
The AMD-powered GX633 offers similar features to the GX623, but comes equipped with a Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core mobile processor and NVIDIA's GeForce GT 130M mobile GPU. The system is packed with 512MB of DDR3 graphics memory and, as the GX623, also offers support for a maximum of 4GB of DDR2 system memory. Coming with a copy of Microsoft's Windows Vista Home Premium, the GX633 boasts Gigabit Ethernet support, wireless 802.11 b/g/n connectivity (with optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR), 4-in-1 card reader, 3 USB ports, a 2MP webcam and a choice for a 3-cell or a 6-cell battery pack.
Unfortunately, the company has not declare any pricing and availability details of these laptops.
