Transcend 192GB SSD and 4GB DDR3 memory kits
Transcend has just launched new MLC-based SSD (Solid State Drive) and new 4GB DDR3 memory kits, as part of the company's aXeRAM. These new products are designed to provide high-performance alternative to the current SSDs and DDR3 memory modules on the market.
This new MLC-based SSD has been designed with a 2.5-inch form factor, making it an ideal upgrade alternative for portable computer systems. The new SSD provides a 192GB of storage space with read and write speeds of 150MB/s and 90MB/s respectively. Additional features include a latency of 0.2ms, enabling users to take advantage of better boot times and enhanced overall performance. This new SSD are available in both SATA and IDE interface with capicity of 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 GB.
Transcend has also introduced a new 4GB aXeRAM DDR3-1800 memory upgrade kit, providing support for high-performance desktop computer system. These new memory modules have been designed to support Intel's Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) technology, offering a memory bandwidth of up to 28.8GB/s. Built as an alternative to current overclocking memory products, the new Transcend DDR3-1800 dual-channel kits boast a latency of 8-8-8-24 and are designed to work at a voltage of 1.8V.
This new aXeRAM 4GB DDR3 memory is available with the price tag of USD 196 and the SSD is available at price tag of USD 614.
