TechCrunch- CrunchPad Prototype Tablet
TechCrunch has revealed its new CurnchPad Prototype-tablet that features an Intel Atom Processor for first time and 12-inch touchscreen.
Besides being much thinner than previous devices. Also this device got an Intel Atom processor instead of VIA Nano processor. The touchscreen should be rather easy to use. In addition, the tablet runs a more efficient software that uses a traditional Linux variant and WebKit-based browser, which require only 100MB of space.
More about the complex web browsing. It includes 4GB of storage for content, a camera for taking pictures and filming video on web sites that support them.
This tablet also has a USB port for peripherals. There’s no physical keyboard so you’ll have to use the on-screen on to type texts. There is no much information about price and expected to be available in the mid of this year.
