Juniper Networks, Inc., the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that Lightower Fiber Networks, a leading digital fiber network and broadband service provider in the northeast United States, has expanded its network with Juniper Networks MX Series Ethernet Services Routers. By extending the reach of its network and upgrading legacy infrastructure with the MX Series, Lightower can flexibly deliver multiple types of services on a single converged infrastructure — leveraging the powerful, consistent JUNOS software — while at the same time improving operational efficiency, service reliability and scale.

Fujitsu has recently updated its netbook offering with the introduction of the new Fujitsu M2010, a 10" netbook that is said to combine a luxurious design with the performance of Intel's latest Atom platform. Like most systems in its category, the new netbook from Fujitsu comes loaded with pretty much a standard package, but adds a few extras like the preloaded ArcSoft software. The new model follows the company's M1010 netbook, announced in October last year.

Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(TSMC), Ltd. announced that they will collaborate on leading-edge process technology production for the manufacturing of Fujitsu Microelectronics’ products. Under an agreement between the companies, Fujitsu Microelectronics will expand its 40-nanometer generation logic IC business with production at TSMC’s fabs.
